Under the framework for Adopt-a-Library in Africa Initiative designed by Crater Library & Publishers, Crater library is currently partnering with the Enugu state library to support the children section of the state library in Enugu metropolis.
The Adopt-a-Library in Africa initiative aims to promote education and literacy in Africa by providing financial and material support to libraries in underserved communities.
Crater Library is poised to support the children’s library with:
(a) Children Programme Design centered on Creative and Innovative STEAM curriculum.
(b) Social Media Publicity
(c) Library Resource Drive such as Book Drive, Computer Drive, Refurbishment of the Library, etc.
(d) Staff Support
The duration of the partnership with the Enugu state Library will last 12 months after which Crater Library reviews the initiative’s outcome for subsequent follow-up and needful support.
