Our services and programmes are impact driven for short and long terms. As a result, galvanising the support of individuals and organisations/institutions whom we refer to as our community, is crucial to the success of Crater Library.
CLP community is divided into 2 categories:
This includes Individuals and organisations/institutions who are registered with our library via Librarika; and literary content creators/publishers who deposit their print or e-books and other works in our library.

Friends of Crater Library support the library as Volunteers, Advocates and Patrons.
Volunteers are important partners in fulfilling Crater Library’s mission. Volunteers perform many important jobs that cannot be funded out of CLP’s regular operating budget and so are essential to the library’s annual goals.
Our volunteers support library staff in various capacities and are supervised by the library Staff. They assist the library with special projects and on-site or virtual community events.

Advocates of Crater Library get involved by attending events (on-site and virtual), donating books and/or equipment such as book scanners, connecting us to grant /funding opportunities, volunteering with us, amplifying our work, offering a gift such as membership to global library or archive associations.

Our Patrons endow Crater Library with funds to support projects and programmes aligned with their passions and interests. Patrons can make a general donation or donate to specific projects or programmes for a period of one year, and can choose to continue as a patron in the following year.
The minimum amount for an annual donation as a Patron is $500.
